It all began when I, Kris Anderson, 25, made an album of songs I had written acoustically over the course of late fall & winter of '06 ', The seed was planted for what would grow and evolve into a unique brand of rock & roll. Doing punk rock & hardcore all my life so far, I wanted to branch out & venture into my love of the whole 90's alternative/grunge era, also incorporating my passion for the classic outlaw country sound. Keeping it all punk rock rooted of course! I wanted to at least once in my life do an album where I recorded all the instruments my self. I ended up using a few fantastic bass players. I thought that these guys were so good, that it was just the best idea to have them on the record. I cant leave out the fact that I also had some very bad ass guitar players help me out as well. THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYBODY! you know who you are. After the "Anderson" album it only seemed right to take these songs to the road, In comes, "The Would Be Theives." Putting together this mysterious assortment of bad asses is not easy. Thats all I can say about that.
In the short time that "The Would Be Thieves" have been together, I have brought this band all over the south east area, Alabama,Tennesee, & all over Georgia. So whenever & however you get to see us, I promise a most enjoyable experience of music. Till then, keep an ear out, for "Anderson & The Would Be Thieves" will be around. Thanks a lot for the add ! EletriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check EletriKa out!
