I have written, produced and recorded for and with glam/hard rock groups such as Crashdïet, Crucified Barbara, Randy Piper's Animal, Zan Clan as well as pop/rock acts like I.D.A., E.M.M.A., Fame and Mike Dalager.
2009 releases include Chris Laney "Pure" (Metal Heaven), Steevi Jaimz "My Private Hell" (SCS/Cargo) and Maria McTurk "This Little Light Of Mine" (Wee Stormy).
Songwriter and producer Anders Ringman grew up just outside the city of Sundsvall in the north of Sweden. At the age of 10, he started playing the piano and two years later, inspired by Ace Frehley, he picked up the guitar.

Ringman soon widened his musical horizons, discovering groundbreaking artists like Chaka Khan, Dalbello and Mother's Finest. As a songwriter, he developed an unique way of combining a sense of melody with a groove.
In 1991, he moved to Stockholm, where he soon hooked up with songwriter/producer Chris Laney. In January 2001 they moved in to their brand new studio and under the PLATFORM moniker, Chris and Anders started writing and producing for both domestic and international artists.
PLATFORM has since left their mark on several albums and singles including styles as diverse as hard rock/metal, commercial pop and so-called "Swedish dance bands". They have also written music for television and a couple of movies, including Jim Heneghan's highly acclaimed "Kiss Loves You" (2007).
The hit single "SMS" by the teenage girl group E.M.M.A., released in August 2002, spent a staggering 25 weeks on the chart and was included on several platinum-selling albums. Other Top 20 artists include Karl Martindahl and 2003 Eurovision Song Contest winners Fame. PLATFORM has so far been involved in seven Swedish Grammy nominated albums, including two winners; Barbados (Best Dance Band 1999) and doom legends Candlemass (Best Hard Rock 2005).
An accomplished guitarist and vocalist, Ringman has performed with artists as diverse as British soul singer Lisa Stansfield, Swedish rock and blues legend Mats Ronander and guitarist/songwriter Vinnie Vincent (Kiss, Dan Hartman).
Anders Ringman primarily sees himself as songwriter and in recent times he's focused more and more on developing his craft - in addition to working with tunesmiths in and around the PLATFORM family, he is currently collaborating with several different writers, composing mainly in the rock/powerpop genre. Always interested in what makes a great song work, he brings to the table that special Swedish touch that has proved to be so successful in recent years: a natural ear for a creating a great melody and an ability to find the right chord change or hook.
