Thanks for being our myspace friend. We get spammed all the time on myspace and its getting hard to know who's a fan and who isn't. If you are a fan it would be great to see you at our next gig - see www.jimmyyukka.com. In future the best way to find out about what we are up to is to join our mailing list.

Sunday 4th October, The Woohoo Revue (Melb), The FRONT GALLERY, 7:30-11pm, $15, genre: Gypsy-Rock.
Melbourne gypsy band, The Woohoo Revue is touring NSW and will be putting on a gypsy rock spectacle at The Front Gallery on Sun 4th October.
People lucky enough to have seen the band’s previous A.C.T. shows will know that this will be a fantastic performance. Expect a big, brassy and outrageously tight set. The Woohoo Revue play music for celebration- for drinking, dancing and forgetting about tomorrow. This is a band that has been seemingly transported from inside a big top. Whilst no dancing bears feature in the show, the group dresses sharp and the playing is even sharper.
"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
Just letting you know that the Woohoo Revue and Mr Fibby are putting on a show at the Merry Muse in Canberra on Fri July 31.
After
playing a very sweaty show together at the Phoenix last December, The
Woohoo Revue and Mr Fibby have decided to park the gypsy Holden
Kingswoods outside the Merry Muse and put on another show.
Come
along for a night of gypsy tunes played very fast, super dance moves,
flashy dressing, debauched antics and preposterous stories.
