Well some of you may already know that i'm going under the knife soon. A lot of you may not. After 3 1/2 years of thinking and researching I have decided to seriously get healthy. I've toyed with the idea of getting the Lap-band for a while, but as of this past Wednesday I have decided to get the Vertical Sleeve Gastrectomy (Gastric Sleeve). Long story short they will be removing a large portion of my stomach and making a smaller one.This is NOT the gastric-bypass where they re-route the intestines like crazy and make your stomach the size of an egg. They just flat out cut your stomach into the shape of a freaking banana, cutting away your appetite with it... It will be one week down time, 4 to 6 weeks recovery and hopefully, happy and healthy for the rest of my life! I'm having the procedure on the 29th of June so if you love me, care about, or hate me please say a prayer for me, I need all the prayers I can get.
