UK Based Psychedelic Trance DJ / Promoter - Based in Hackney, London (UK). Andi has been involved in the underground dance music scene for over ten years and has progressed from attending all night trance events such as Escape From Samsara, Pendragon, Antiworld, Trancentral, Pickle, Logic to DJ-ing and promoting underground events in Portsmouth and Bristol UK (JARRED Parties from 2001 – 2005).
Andi initially began mixing Techno Trance due to the strong influence of his time spent at events such as Samsara, Pendragon, Antiworld, Planet Zogg and the tunes played by the likes of Beamish, Oberon, Mark Sinclair, Cybernaut, E-303, Orange Peel, J Roach, Thermobee, Lab4, Fabry / Metaphase, Greg Zogg and a whole host of other top underground acts!!
In early 2001 Andi and a group of fellow party goers started their own night JARRED in their home town of Portsmouth, playing Techno Trance and by 2005 Psychedelic Trance also. JARRED parties were run from 2001 – 2005, with a string of rammed events in Portsmouth and later on in Bristol, and soon to be London!
Artists featured at JARRED parties from 2001 – 2005:- Andi Leppard, K90 live, Orpheus-2 live, SBL live, Beamish, Oberon, Darren Shambhala, Proteus, Greg Zogg & Dil, Opal live, E-303, Kristian, Simo, DJ POD, Sean Rudz, Oli Brand, Vortechtral live. We stopped promoting at the end of 2005 as it was time for a break as the trance scene was changing and more importantly it was time to head out of the UK for a years travelling and DJing in the developing world.
Since returning to the UK in early 2007, Andi has based himself in London (Hackney) and has started to make a further name for himself on the London & UK Psychedelic Trance scene playing both Progressive and Full-On Psychedelic Trance.
Andi has played alongside acts such as:- Xerox & Illumination, Ace Ventura, Scorb, Dejavoo, Kristian, Talamasca, Alien Project, Laughing Buddha, Juno Reactor, Propulsion, M-Theory, Psy Craft, Jay-Om, Fordy, Nick Sentience, Infected Mushroom, Astrix, Eskimo, Sutekh, Greg Zogg, Compressor, E-Jekt, Twenty Eight, Gaba, M-Klome, BeatNik, Zeus, John 00 Fleming, Metaphase, Psykinetic, Sinewave, DJ Peace, Morganism, Journey and many more!!
For the future Andi is looking to keep working with Antiworld and secure further sets UK & worldwide with a focus on free parties and UK / European festivals! This situation represents pretty much the musical atmosphere of Krama's second album: Mighty bass structures form a clean and solid foundation, on which sunny melodies swash out of trancy depths, accompanied by forcing rhythm structures. Since 2001, Dimitris Violitzis and Elias Garanis from Greece have constantly developed their very own definition of Power Progressive Trance.
The epic flow of their music is inspired by their musical background, which includes minimal Progressive Trance on the one hand but also classical and Celtic music, New Age sounds and even some Metal.
The intense effectiveness of Krama's tunes could already been witnessed on many different Progressive floors where the two dudes always delivered excellent shows.
