Paul	May 23 2009 11:10 AM Just got Sex Gang Children a play on Steve Lamacq's BBC 6 Music show! It's "Goth Day" on the station and I asked for "German Nun" or "Sebastiane" to be played and he played "Killer K" which is just just as awesome. It'll be up to listen to again later so check it out! Here's the email I sent: Hi Steve, What about giving Sex Gang Children an honourable mention? and maybe give "German Nun", "Sebastiane" or any other song from the session archives a play? I saw them live in 2002 when I was just 16 years old at the Ocean in Hackney and, not being in any way gothic in fashion I did get a few odd looks - is this irony?? They are the complete opposite of the low-vocals-and-reverbed-guitar sound that's associated with "goth", but I think they are one of the best and most original bands to come out of the goth/punk genre and I wonder why their music is hardly referenced or played when the "goth" genre is discussed.
