This man is the most amazing entertainer I have ever seen live! He is also an awesome guy in general. Drank with him many a time at shows :). Avenged Sevenfold is also equally amazing, live.

    Fav sci-fi: George Lucas (Enough said, this man is a cultural icon)

    Fav drama: Wolfgang Peterson (No one does it better)

    Fav comedy: is a tie between the Monty Python group and Mel Brooks (they're geniuses in the realm of comedy!)

    Fav cult classic films: Wes Anderson and Sofia Coppola (they both make their movies so visually interesting and pay attention to every detail involved in their movies)

    Fav Documentary: Morgan Spurlock!

    I am a big movie person so I'll watch anything! Got any suggestions? Disturbing to cheesy, I love them all! Recently saw "The Invention of Lying" I recommend it to everyone! It's a hilarious movie!

    TV is my connection to many sports such as hockey. That's all I really watch it for anyway.

    I do watch shows online. South Park is my obsession. Love it!

    Also Dirty Jobs and Mythbusters or anything on Food Network. Gotta love that Alton Brown. He's the Bill Nye of the Food Network.

    The Bible of course, Any Stephen King novels, Tracy Chevialier books, anything by Jen Lancaster, Punk's War, A Trial by Jury, Red Badge of Courage, Catcher in the Rye, Lord of the Flies, Hitchhiker's Guide series, The Long Dark Teatime of the Soul, The Salmon of Doubt, Pursuing the Best: The how's and why's to living life to the fullest, anything by Chuck Palahniuk, love the research of Michael Pollan, getting into Harry Turtledove as well. The historic aspect and scifi thrown together amuse me. Currently re-reading "Invisible Monsters" by Chuck Palahniuk.

    I love to read so you'll usually see me with a book if I can't be on my computer.

    Reading is something that I do really enjoy. More people need to read for fun. I say "Turn off the TV and read a book. It's called thinking outside the box!"

About me:

I am a Michigan State Univerity Alum. I got a BS in Dietetics. I am now trying to pay off my loans from there before going to culinary school. I have several places interested in me just seeing where life is taking me at the moment before moving onto any one choice.

I move alot. I resort hop professionally as a chef. I have been at Grand Hotel Mackinac Island, Michigan for 2 years. I am currently working at Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo, Florida. It is amazing down here. I would like to stay here year round if a spot opens up. I really think Florida is where I am meant to be, and not just for the gorgeous weather. It already feels like home. Minus the fact my boyfriend is not down here. I love him and miss him alot. Thank goodness for the internet and webcams!

As the saying goes "Growing up is hard to do." I feel I am finally doing that while here on my own over a thousand miles away from all I have ever known and love. I honestly feel this is the change in my life I needed. Growing up is hard to do. For me it's been a slower process than most. Through all my setbacks in life it has done nothing but make me a stronger and better person for it. I thank God every day for each trial I have had to face that has brought me where I am today.

What else about me? Take a look around and just ask! I finally have a consistant internet connection (YEA!) so I am on here alot. I am also off wandering this beautiful area of the Florida Keys. My typical day is filled with work, gym time, amazing new friends, and beautiful weather and landscapes surounding me.
