    Hey James, thanks for the tips.  We're on the case with Propaganda, Fleet - just waiting for them to get back to us now - the venue is just a stones throw away from where I live.  Just a bit too convenient!

    James....The increase in venues, gigs and artists in this area has risen to a point where we now have a thriving live music scene, better than I've known here before .....and all your work, in putting the excellent Andover Gig Guide together, maintaining and up-dating it constantly, for pleasure, not money, is very much appreciated as playing a large part in facilitating this huge improvement.     Static Rain is a 2 piece band from the beautiful Yorkshire town of Keighley. Band members Tony Garthwaite and Jacob Barlow formed the band in 2008, driven by a joint passion for both electronic music and retro synths. The music they produce can be described as electronic pop with catchy choruses and memorable riffs that are prominent in all of their songs, making them popular with a very wide audience.

    Following their initial success on MySpace, Static Rain continues to build a solid fan base and a strong reputation as a live act. The band is currently looking for gigs from June 09 onwards throughout the whole of the UK.
