We play what we hear. During a short stroll through a street in Jerusalem one can hear singing from sinagouges, turkish pop music blaring at a music shop, traditional mqqamat sung at mosques and klezmer clarinet. All these and more found their way into our music.
this video is from a concert we gave in Jerusalem with Frank London on trumpet. Both are tunes from our new repertoire, which we hope to record and release soon.

AndraLaMoussia is a world music group based in Jerusalem. AndraLaMoussia means chaos in ancient Hebrew and, like our name, our music reflects the diverse cultural reality we live in.
Since the release of our first album the band played many venues in Israel and Europe, among them at the Israel Festival's Jazz Club, Jerusalem's “Days of Jewish Music” Festival and "La Vie de la Sieta" Festival in Italy. ALM has collaborated with many artists among them NYC based trumpeter Frank London of the klezmatics, Shaanan Street ("Hadag Nachash" rapper) and more.
The group's unique approach to tradition and cultural diversity makes them true ambassadors of contemporary culture in Jerusalem.
