It is difficult to know where to begin and where to end as I enjoy a huge variety of music including:- Acoustic, Ambient, Alternative, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Soul, Country, Folk, Reggae, Classical, the list could go on and on!
Here are some of my influences:- The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel, Pink Floyd, Neil Young, Carly Simon, Cat Stevens, Dido, Cheryl Crow, Mary Black, Fleetwood Mac, Snow Patrol, James Blunt, David Gray,Tracy Chapman, Annie Lennox, Bob Marley, Damien Rice, Seal, Bryan Adams, Nat King Cole, Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Kristy. Kazie, Justine,Emma, Lee, Clayton and sooo many more!!
My Christian faith is a huge influence on my compositions. I strongly believe that I have the gift to write songs and sing them to bring peace and hope to a wounded Soul. Jesus Christ is my Hero..my Saviour and my Salvation and with his love and our faith we are capable of coping with anything that comes are way. we have been given the gift of life..it is very precious...WE are very precious..be kind to yourself and to others. Respect the our planet Earth and all that breathes on it and do your best to make a positive difference every day! Peace xx :)

My full name is Andréa jean O'Brien, thank you for stopping by and listening to my music. Here is a little bit about myself: I am truly grateful for the life I have been given and I will endeavour to do what good I can on this amazing planet!
We all have our share of ups and downs and I believe that everything we go through happens for a reason. Life is a challenge and we have to endure it and embrace it and battle on to reach the top of the mountain! We can do it if we put our mind to it! It is so easy for us to blame others for our dilemas in life but we must learn to look into ourselves and realise that even though we sometimes face atrocities beyond our controle; it is how we choose to react to what life throws at us that effects our chances to succeed! We hold the golden key! Some people we meet on our journey here on Earth can have a negative and selfish attitude and hurt us deeply. They can crush our spirit. It is better to share your precious time with folk that really love you and care about you! They inspire, lift you and nourish you.
We are all worthy of happiness! Nobody is better than anyone else....we are just different and we should accept each other for who we are and what we are capable of. Each and every one of us have a unique quality and talent to give to the world and we must be positive and keep moving on to reach the desired goal we have set ourselves.

“A light as pure as an Angels Glow A gentle breeze sparks a flickering light to Heavens Path. Through the open window flies a brown majestic Moth He dances round the table cloth Fluttering flirtatiously enticed to the flame Like water to a cloud and flowers in the rain.
An aura of starlight Glowing embers of radiance so clear You take away the darkness The hopelessness, the fear.
Calming, graceful, romancing, dancing on the window sill A light for my memories Inspiration for my dreams A candle by the open window God Bless the Grace you give me A moment so serene.”
