Music often speaks more to me than words. I sing. I play the piano. I play the guitar. I write. I intend to make music every day until I have no breath. I love my family. I love the music of the Daylights...they have something vital to say. Casey Black has no idea how fantastic he is. His music is pure and lovely...every single song means something to me. Reeve Carney is a rare and genuine talent. Tyler Hilton is a brilliant musician...and he can play the blues like nobody's business. I'm a sucker for a good mix CD. I give people nicknames within seconds of knowing them. I want to live in a castle. I love the night. I love stars. I used to live in Evergreen, Colorado, and it was lovely. I want to move back to Colorado someday...it's my favorite place ever. I'm obsessed with the mountains. Snakes scare the breath out of me. I used to want to be a news anchor, as well as a marine biologist. When I was 16, I shamelessly and hopefully sent copies of my demo CD to every record label I could locate in the country, not having any idea how this insane industry actually works. I love kids. They have no inhibitions. They laugh. They dance. Without reservation, they say whatever's on their mind. They're brilliant and unaware of it. They say the funniest things. And they're cuuuute. I love documentaries...about pretty much anything. I like to play. I like to climb trees and roll down hills. I don't know how not to believe in God. He's everywhere. One day I will play a show at Red Rocks. I saw Sigur Ros in concert, and it was the best live show I've ever seen. They blew my mind. I love people. I love hearing stories. I want to travel. I love to be thrilled. An adventure should not go to waste. I'm a fairly wide-eyed girl. There's no way I'll settle for less than that which thrills me. I chase. In 50 years, I don't want to find my dusty old dreams rotting on a shelf. I cannot be stifled. You can limit yourself, but don't let others do it for you. I've recently become quite bold. I find no time for apathy. I'm alive.
