Howdy. I was at the Ascent this past weekend, and I just wanted to say that was definitely some of the most powerful worship i've experienced in suuuuch a long time.
Andrea, you are special. Just listened through your new stuff and were blown away. Wow. "You'll be glad" has got a beautiful vibe. Your sweet, sweet folky voice is making my heart smile. You sound so honest and passionate, which is the key to agency. I sure hope we get to hook up again soon. Your music is so inspiring. 1st Corinthians 13, what a huge song. I love the big sound, and the outro: "I need your love, sweet God I need you"...That's mesmerizing stuff! Those types of hooks are what we dream to write. You sing them, all the time. You own them all! :) Please save some for us, if there are any more left out there, we'd like to have some Carr hooks too! :)

Thats wonderfull! Yeah as of lately its always something different, one day he'll have me writing a "me" song and the next it will be just a straight up adoration song.. So new approach is vital because both are worship to me, like you said, and how to seal it up in an envelope so that others can take and benefit from it... So its just a matter of that right recipe I guess. As I will be for you!

I work in a bookstore in Kansas City (at the International House of Prayer) and we were playing the Choose Life CD one day... When your song came on two customers asked me at the same time (practically talking over each other) to find out who was singing and what CD it was on!
