My favorite movies are Officer and a Gentleman, Jungle Fever, You've Got Mail, Something New, Color Purple...along with everything Madea, and anything romantic.

My new favorite is Poetry for the Soul by Andrea Mills. Anything Andrea Mills works for me and then...Pearl Cleage, Maya Angelou, John Grisham, and then Andrea Mills. You've got to love it!
Heroes
I think Heroes are everyday people who make the most of what life has to offer and then make it special for others around them. My Parents are my Heroes! Thanks Mom and Dad.
I grew up in Melbourne, FL, and I currently live in Smyrna, GA. I am a Poet, Motivational Speaker, Author, and Singer and I spend most of my time promoting my books through motivational speaking and poetry recitals at conferences, conventions, community programs, and workshops.

I can be heard Thursday nights on Atlanta's Big Station V-103, where I co-host Poetic Moments with Joyce Littel on The Quiet Storm. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and a graduate of Bethune-Cookman College, Brenau University, and the Art Institute of Atlanta.
