Hello everybody,
My name is Andrea Pavanello and I am a keyboard player and composer from Padova, Italy. My musical journey started with classical studies at the age of 10. I discovered synthesizers at the age of 16 when I joined a local band to play covers of Italian Progressive Rock bands like Area, Banco del Mutuo Soccorso, PFM, and Wishbone Ash. In 1996 I got in touch with my friend Jordan Rudess, a keyboard player who gave me the opportunity to experience the first lesson he delivered through his Online Conservatory.
I also had other important musical experiences with a funky rock band called DadoTratto with whom I played in some Italian festivals. I improved my keyboard skills and knowledge of synthetizers through the years and I’m currently working on a progressive rock project with some Italian musicians. The record will be released in early 2008. My main influences are: Dream Theater, Porcupine Tree, Liquid Tension Experiment, Pink Floyd, Muse, Steve Vai, Planet X, Symphony X, Chick Corea and many others. Stay tuned!
Centrica was born September 2006 when keyboard player Andrea Pavanello and guitarist Giorgio Rovati decided to write some music together. With high enthusiasm for writing and musical inspiration beginning to flow, they decided to put up a record called Centrica. Being their very first project, the intention was to write instrumental music within the progressive rock environment. Centrica will be releasing their debut album called Centrica in the spring of 2008 with the collaboration of Alberto De Bortoli on bass guitar and Dario Ciccioni on drums.

Ciao andrea...grazie mille a te per la tua amicizia...spero ci saranno occasioni prossime per rivedersi.... Ho ascoltato i Centrica, edevo dire che avete davvero un bel sound... Ti chiedo un consiglio: siccome vorrei riuscire a ricreare il Liquid T lead sul motif xs, ho sentito la prima track e c'e un tuo assolo con un lead che ci assomi glia moltissimo....riusciresti a dirmi come si ricrea sul motif?
