    Andre Chrys [pronounced like Chris] writes songs that feature a cast of colourful characters - drunken guardian angels, honey-tongued lovers, crooked cops and crazy hitchhikers... Andre’s music is built around his voice and his acoustic guitar. His sound is a blend of musical influences – rock, folk, blues and soul... Originally from Winnipeg, Andre packed up a couple of well-worn Gibson guitars, and headed west. Since moving to Vancouver, he released a solo debut called Terminal Avenue. John P. McLaughlin (Vancouver Province) said the indie released was “brimming with promise,” and The Georgia Straight said the songs on the record have the same kind of “barstool wisdom and dirty-old-town laments that used to be the sole domain of Tom Waits…”.. Catch Andre Chrys playing live in the hardest-working music venues in Vancouver. Stay tuned for news about his new album project...
