From his days as a fledging DJ in the mid-90's in western Germany to balancing his days and nights as a full-time father and professional DJ and live performer, Andre Kraml has kept his ear to the ground in electronic music over his short time in music. Beyond being an accomplished sound designer for many key independent films, Kraml has also risen to become one of Cologne's key figures in the city's historic techno community.
As a student at the esteemed Cologne Media & Audiodesign School, Kraml found himself surrounded by a group of leading local film directors who include Hans Weingärtner, Florian Schwarz, Rolf Schübeland and Mika Kaurismäki. He has contributed as main sound designer for a number of key independent films and continues to work as a full time sound designer.
In the early 2000's he found himself in the company of the then fledging FIRM record label collective. 2004, there was the publication of his groundbreaking single "Safari" for the company, a summer dance anthem was immediate and was designed by the legendary James Holden and newly remixed-on CROSSTOWN REBELS released Imprint global acclaim. He continues staying true to his family roots as a full time contributor to the FIRM label, but can be credited for a number of remixes for the likes of DOMINIK EULBERG, COSMIC SANDWICH, TIGERSKIN and more. His music can be found on leading dance labels GET PHYSICAL, GLOBAL UNDERGROUND, MINISTRY OF SOUND, BPITCH CONTROL, TRAUM and FABRIC.
The future certainly seems bright for this young producer as he keeps busy in the studio and prepares for a return to the stage with a new live show this summer.

One of the finest German labels, Firm releases one of the best EPs of this summer from Bozzwell.
Bozwell is one half of the infamous duo Hiem. Alongside Nick 'Nico' Eastwood, David
Boswell who is a former vocalist is doing the finest attmepts of contemporary techno
and house music under the guise Bozzwell.
His style is as you can predict a little bit dark and edgy. He is also adding his vocal skills
just as one of the remixers in this EP, Jens Uwe Beyer aka Popnoname. With Deepulse,
Popnoname has done a very good treatment for the track 'Marlena's Eyes'.
A pop meets rave arrangement again on the edge. And not to forget the real Firm member André Kraml. His remix of 'Excape 5' is probably the strongest and most clubby
side in the EP with real weird wonky bass and some clicks & cuts action.
Overall Bozzwell's latest Firm release 'Escape 5' has a wide range of sound compatibility
and craftsmanship. Tasty sounds meet with nice melodies and cuts came along for the ultimate listening experiance. One of my favorite EPs for this summer. A real good sound mixture ranging from Cologne pop-rave to MUTEK high end tech-house, a real musical degustation!
