I started to play bass at 20, since then, i had made jam sessions with various musicians and played in various bands. That's a very good way to gain experience and learn. Ofcourse, the theory can't be placed apart and it helps a lot to a musician.
We are always learning, so, every day i dedicate time to my instrument even if, when composing, i use often a guitar.
The Art of compose it's something we have to have inside us. As time, practice and knowledge evolves, we make more eficient musics, more mature. In other hand, compose music for a band is one thing and make music for solo is other. Each composer have is taste clearly defined, it shows in his solo work is soul but in a band a composer must retract himself a little to give place to other musicians show their soul too.
Because i already have bands, i decided to make my myspace, simple, where i can show you some of my SOLO work.
I play all instruments you can hear (Except drums. Based in my taste and notion of drums i just write and program them), i write everything, detail by detail. Dynamics, volumes, resolutions, melodies, speed, energy, solos, everything is taked in DEEP consideration.
