Andrew Antone first appeared on the music scene in early 2003 with his first release, I CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE (2003). Andrew began promotion by landing a musical appearance on the late night talk show, Jimmy Kimmel Live – an experience he describes as, “Such a thrill.” Shortly after Andrew's national television debut his voice began changing which forced him to take a break from performing to vocally retrain.
Coinciding with high school graduation, Andrew began refocusing all of his energy on his music career, resulting in a brand new album, I WILL LOVE AGAIN (2006), featuring his powerful and sophisticated adult voice. When listeners hear Andrew Antone's passionate, emotional, and tender tenor vocals, it is hard to believe he was only nineteen years old.
As time would have it, Andrew had to make the difficult choice to step back once again from the music scene to concentrate on his education. As a full time University student, Andrew’s schedule left him little time to record and promote his music. However, this “time off” has allowed Andrew to not only grow intellectually, but physically and emotionally. In the summer of 2006, Andrew began a total transformation: physically, because he has now brought his total weight loss to over 85lbs; and emotionally, because Andrew began writing very personal, intimate original material for his next project. There are no details yet as to when Andrew’s next album will be released, however he will most likely be heading back into the studio during the winter of ’09. As an artist who strives to excellence, eager fans stand by! There may be a few surprises between now and the release of Andrew Antone’s next full album.
