Andrew Bader is a singer/songwriter who plays guitar and keyboards as well as singing. His previous band The Oquendo had played together for two years playing such venues as Peabody’s, The Odeon, and other local venues. After the split Bader focused on recording music for a good two years. Recently he has been able to get back into songwriting and producing songs of his own. All songs are recorded and mixed by Bader; many of the instruments played are a mix of Bader and other close musician friends.
"Music is really an enhancer for any type of situation in life. What would a party be without music? What would a 3 hour car ride home to Akron be without music? What would be a relaxing night alone without music? Music speaks to a lot of people in a lot of different ways. Sometimes music can be just a great tune with a catchy chorus and sometimes music can be words and sentences that really speaks to someone whether it reminds them of good times or the hard times, music really helps people get through life.
When it comes down to writing music my favorite kind of songwriting is the kind where emotions or feelings sneak up on you and you write something down and you really capture the sincerity of the moment. Whether a day or two later you might not agree with what you wrote.

Hi Andrew, Yes I did all the audio engineering. I wrote the song, Sing the lead vocals, and played the keyboard parts. It was recorded half analog, and half digital using a Tascam TSR-8 1/2" Multi track, and an Adat machine for a total of 16 tracks. I designed and animated all of the cartoon characters, and did all the special effects. It was all put together on my G5 Mac using these softwares: Digital Performer 4.61, Final Cut Pro 5, Motion, Livetype,Toon Boom Studio 3.5, and Dvd Pro 4. The project took a year to complete. Thanks for your interest in my work. Take Care, Jerry Sanders
