Guitarist and songwriter with about eight years or so playing experience, something I picked up in college. Usual style I go for is some kind of metal/punk/post-hardcore sound, with some attempted Kurt Cobain-ish (something like that) type of melodies mixed in as well. I've also done (and still try to do sometimes) some more acoustic, kind of singer-songwriter and/or more traditional rock stuff. I'm not extremely proficient at a lot of fancier chord progressions, etc. I'm more punk in that area. I do have a tendency to like to play around with time signatures some. As you can hear, I also attempt to sing and do drum programming when necessary.
Most of the songs in the player are taken from a few rough living-room recorded albums I have made in the last couple of years under the name "Damage/Damage-Control," originally a project name that I'm using as kind of a solo moniker at this point. The last song, "Mission Control," is a very basic guitar/voice demo, one of a few songs that I wrote with/for the band I tried doing a while back, and which I would still like to try to develop (along with that general sound) if I can get another band together.

Man, your message reminded me of the old glory days of Spaceballs, Swiss Cake Rolls, and Microwave pizza.
I'm glad that you're still playing guitar. I can definitely tell your skills are improving. You need to get your butt to Greensboro sometime so we can record some music and catch up.
