I was raised in the foothills of Rhode Island. It was a small, grandiose city that had a Roller Kingdom and a movie theater, which eventually closed down. We had a Wal*Mart and a Stop N Shop. Yeah. Until the age of 18, I lived there in peace with the surrounding people, until I moved to Myrtle Beach, SC, where hurricanes and tornadoes are abundant. I am a comedian by nature and I no longer am attending college, never mind learning new things. I’ve devoted my life to making people laugh as well as making myself laugh occasionally. I like to watch movies. I’ve seen about 400 or so. I keep a list of how many I’ve seen. I’ve been doing it since I was four. I always knew it would come in handy some day. Ha. I’m looking for someone to share my life with, but I don’t want to share the whole thing. Like my meals. I don’t want someone eating out of my plate. It’s mine. The South is crazy with the gun-toting, cigarette-smoking, NASCAR-watching, beer-drinking, Jesus-preaching people, but I find it humorous. I come from a more metropolitan area, not to be confused with Neopolitan, whichi is a type of Ice cream. I hope this gives you an idea of what I’m about. Great News!!! I just finished shooting a Canadian documentary show called "TV Made Me Do It!" It's all about my brain cancer experience and how the show Seinfeld inspired me to become a stand-up comic. I will have a tape of my performance in NYC any day now and am going to upload it onto this page. I'm going to start submitting the tape to do guest spots at different establishments. I'll keep you all updated!

Influences
My influences in comedy include a big array of comedians like Steven Wright, Jerry Seinfeld, Rodney Dangerfield, Bill Hicks, Zach Galifianakis, and that's it. Although I enjoy other comics, especially Jim Gaffigan and Jeremy Hotz, they really didn't contribute to my choice to become a lifelong comedian. George Carlin is another that I find hilarious, but did not contribute directly.
TV Shows
I was on the Ed Sullivan show once, in a dream. I will be on Canadian Television soon

Andrew's Interests
General
I like movies. I like some TV shows. I do stand-up comedy. I like sleeping. I love comedy. I thought about trying apple streudels. It didn't end well. I want to buy a fax machine, a printer, and a digital camera, and a video camera. I like to go to the beach sometimes. I like Indian people with red dots on their forehead. I like the color blue. I like people who have a good sense of humor. I eat food every now and then. I work out once a year. I like cookies. Pizza is good, too. I want to go to Italy, but who can afford it right now? I bought a book of cliches. I like Steven Wright. I like Jerry Seinfeld. Not just the show. I met him once. I saw him twice. I like Office Space and Kevin Spacey. I like animals who aren't sauteed in butter. I like to eat watermelons with the skin on. One time I went to a restaurant alone and told the hostess I had a really big party when I didn't. When she asked me where they were, I put my head in my hands, started crying and said, "I don't know." That's all I'm really interested in. Oh yeah, dreams.
Music
Anything that's laid back and doesn't encourage putting your hand in the air like you just don't care.
Movies
I've seen a lot of movies, but only a few have really stuck out. Office Space is my favorite movie. I liked American Beauty. I thought The Squid and the Whale was fucking dynomite. Punch-Drunk Love was amazing. George of the Jungle was funny, just give it a chance. Waiting and 40-year-old virgin were wicked funny, but they didn't have any message to them. Except that crude humor, while offensive, can shock people into laughter. I remember a movie I saw called Hard Ball with Keanu Reeves and he takes control of an inner-city Little League team and one of the kids gets shot while singing Notorious B.I.G.'s hit single, "I Live it When You Call Me Big Papa." Put your hands in the air and be a cool player.
I'm not so much on movies anymore . I think the whole problem is the act of sitting through the damn things. It just takes so long just to watch a movie, and if you've already paid the nine dollars, you have this inherent pressure to stay. I wish movies would just get to the point and let you know what they are saying and then say it. Then we can all go home.
Television
I think the Simpsons is funny. I like South Park. Family Guy is all right. Futurama is great. Bob Saget Uncensored is funny too. Seinfeld. I really don't watch anything else, unless it includes naked people.
Books
Brain Building in Just 12 Weeks, The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People, Juice Fasting, Sugar Busters, Amusing Ourselves to Death, all Chuck Pahlaniuk novels, especially Fight Club, Survivor, and Rant: The Oral Biography of Buster Casey. Invisible Monsters was a good read, too, but I did not like the ending.
Heroes
If I had a hero, it would be Steven Wright. If I didn't have one, it would be someone that didn't exist. If I was married, my hero would have to be my wife. Not that I would actually think so, but if I didn't put it on here, there would be a divorce. My mother is also a role model for me, but not in the comedy venue.

About me: I tell jokes. People laugh. I'd love to continue doing that. If you like to laugh, you should come and see me. I've been having a lot of trouble loading media clips on this website, so hold on and I'll have some up, but until then, be patient. It kind of pisses me off how an audio clip that's not mp.. that gets converted to mp3 doesn't work. But I'll get to the bottom of it.
Here's a video of me doing stand-up in NY
Who I'd like to meet: Jewish people, people who are from Swahili, the guy from Tru Calling who had the beard, Sammy Davis, Jr. (RIP), Al Jackson, Willie Keeler, Darryl Strawberry (crackhead), Greg Esper's mother in law, etc.
