I've been playing bass guitar and synthesizers since about 1980. That's when I bought my Rickenbacker 4001 and Korg MS-20 (Still have them both!). Graduated from UNO with a degree in Music Composition/Theory in 1985. Played bass guitar or electric guitar or synthesizer in a boatload of bands from New Orleans to Florida to Vermont and back. Since coming back home after Katrina evacution, I've been doing some solo electronic things and total improvised shows on bass guitar (with my drummer AP, whom I've played with off and on since 1985).

Did you ever meet my brother Eric? He was a great bass player. He doesn't play much any more though. He was my idol. He lives in L.A., and has a 13 year old son. He may come for a visit in a few months. -later
