About me: Welcome to the interspace home of Rivers of Mars Records. We are a North Carolina based music company, focused on producing the finest bluegrass and folk music possible. This drive is coupled with a passion and respect for original music and improvisation, thus producing a totally unique, yet familair sound. Rivers of Mars began as an official company in 2008, and is now hard at work promoting and distributing their very first release, the solo debut album from the talented songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Never Eversole, entitled "Creature". It is an album scintillating with creativity, innovation, and ancestors. Traditional bluegrass is the underlying fabric of "Creature", yet no specific boundaries are set as the music flows in, out, and around different genres and cultures. It sounds like an old time porch jam in the Mountains of Mars. With its originality and overall quality, Never Eversole's, "Creature" has set the bar high for the future of Rivers of Mars Music. The Family Eversole, an experimental roots ensemble featuring Never and Fidaelia Flame along with a stellar lineup of incredible musicians, is really taking off and has many fine concerts and festivals coming up. The Family E is also currently working in conjunction with Danamic Media in planning an international music and video tour. In addition, a partnership with the righteous Angel Band Foundation is beginning the open the doors to many new dimensions and plant the seeds for a future we can all enjoy to listen to. Rural Rhythm Records Signs Randy Kohrs
First Single, Rockwell’s Gold, Releases January 2007
Nashville, TN (11.27.06) Rural Rhythm Records announces they have signed an exclusive recording contract with Randy Kohrs. Old Photograph, Randy’s fourth solo album, will hit shelves in Spring 2007, and the first single, Rockwell’s Gold, will be released in January.

If you choose to travel the road to the truth, then you must be prepared for the obstacles that await you. You may be condemned or criticized by your family, your friends, your lovers, or your co-workers. This is their programming that began at birth that is doing exactly what it's supposed to do. You're going to have to be stronger than that. You must realize that there is a reality that exists outside of this controlled artificial system. Like Indiana Jones in the Last Crusade, he took that 'leap of faith' over the bridgeless canyon in an attempt to get to the other side. Like Neo in the Matrix, he took the red pill from Morpheus in his attempt to cross over to his real self. Once you wake up, it's as if a hypnotist came along and snapped his fingers. You wake up and say to yourself, "Oh my god. I can see it now. Why did it take me so long to wake up?!" For some of you it can be a major shock. Like anything else, take this information and knowledge in stages. If it took a lifetime for them to mold your reality for you, then you know that it may take longer than a day to fully awaken. Remember, the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.
