Here's a little background on how the music that you are now hopefully enjoying came to fruition...

About 2 years ago during a sound check for a production of "Jesus Christ Superstar", I was playing the part of "Jesus" and chose to sing the title song from Kurt Ellings' album "Close Your Eyes."

Andrew Swan (musical director), being a fan of Kurt, was impressed with my rendition. We then joined forces to form a 4 piece band playing live around the traps.

I had some lyrics written down and some melodies floating around in my head but had never gotten round to taking them any further than that. Encouraged by Swan we joined forces in his home studio and came up with the songs on this page.

Born on the Central Coast of N.S.W, Andrew was surrounded by music from an early age. His mother was heavily involved in amateur theatre and he subsequently grew up watching hundreds of performances from the wings . With music in his blood he, of course, jumped on the stage himself as "The Artful Dodger" in Oliver.

Many other roles were to follow such as... "Val Jean" in Les Miserables, "Ulysses" in Paris (World Premier), "Jesus" in Jesus Christ Superstar, "Mr Cocker" in Back to the 80's.

Andrew has done extensive work in live bands, with over 10 years experience in such bands as "The Fabulous Blues Brothers" & "But Seriously- The Australian Phil Collins Show."

Andrew Godbold has years of experience in musical theatre and work in bands. This has more than prepared him to present a young, energetic and fresh style of jazz that is so popular today.

Backed by Maestro pianist Andrew Swan, featuring a top shelf selection rhythm section, the music they produce is smooth, slick and sensational.
