you do have a good reason behind your method. everyone has there own driving style, but lets look at it like this, if you have a 600hp 240sx and your in a mid -technical-drift and you start to get on the gas you have more of a chance on spinning out. now if you were pushing a stock ls1 or even a 300-450 hp sr20det, then you can have a little bit more control, you could be more aggresive with the gas pedal. but everyone has there own style, like hubinette and his 600hp viper, then you have the dudes like tommy suel who are pushing na, hatchi motors.
