Andrew Loeser began singing and song-writing when he was a young boy, making up lyrics and tunes whenever he was left to entertain himself.
Believing he couldn't "sing", Andrew decided that he would take up playing music and taught himself how to play the guitar at age 13. Not long after, Andrew realized he liked the deep tones of the bass guitar (especially Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust"). On his 14th birthday he received a bass and amp. Before he knew it, he was playing cover songs of his favorite 80s bands.
In his early 20s, Andrew began writing his own music and playing with a band, that he won't name now, but describes as "psychedelic funk-punk."
Living the life of a musician in a college town was beginning to take it's toll on Andrew, and as the days passed, life became more gray. Andrew quickly began to realize that he was going nowhere and it was time to come to terms with his childhood and adolescent experiences.
So, Andrew began to discover a new path..."change your thoughts, change your life." Andrew began his inner journey of examining his past. Facing his self-worth beliefs, that grew from a traumatic childhood and painful adult relationships; Andrew evaluated his choices, his thoughts of worthiness, and renewed his life's intention. Most importantly, Andrew recognized that something beautiful was ready to be born and allowed his true creative musical talents to manifest.
Andrew entered a Talent Show, casting aside the old limiting beliefs that had been instilled by others' words of unworthiness, Andrew reclaimed his personal power and decided to SING and play one of his original songs and music. He started his performance by stating, "This is a new place for me. This is my gift to you."
His performance ended with a standing ovation...Andrew knew that music was his spiritual destiny and it was his purpose to write, sing, and play his music for himself and to inspire others. He also realized that the wisdom from his life's experiences led him to this place, this moment of freedom.
Living his dream of writing, singing, and playing music, Andrew has recorded his first CD and will be performing at centers and workshops in the Western US. He is active in his spiritual philosophy and continues to expand his spiritual knowledge and personal practice. He now lives a joyful and love inspired life. Thanx for Your Friendship,,If you should get your hands on our cd please burn it and place the burnt copies in random restrooms or countries,,or countries with restrooms. Because we want you to be happy on your travels and not baffled when the country you are in has no restroom to put our CD.
Ha! We should play Mission some time! I did manage to slip in Different Strings before I left there in November. I saw the Reno show this year. Nice small venue. Great show as usual.
good, in general. continually amazed by this new life and all the possibilities. went to visit david and kc in denver yesterday, which was lovely. school is great - i facilitated a dialogue for "non-buddhist" students this month and am organizing another one (buddhism is a huge and mandatory part of our school, so it's helpful to process experiences around that). and i'm learning all sorts of fascinating, inspiring stuff about different kinds of therapy, among other things. i'm coming back to CA for spring break - hopefully i'll get to see you, kami and luke then. can't believe he's growing up so fast! :) glad you and your family are happy. take care.
it is well, for the most part. school is absolutely amazing. i miss you too! come to church sometime around xmas or new yrs (i'll be in town starting 12/17)so i can see you and kami and lucas. Love erica
Namaste We are connected spiritually; now let us connect more physically.
Believe that we are not alone nor have we ever been. Believe that we are at a point in history that will change the world as we know it, in our lifetime. Believe that fear is the seed of hate. Believe that we will be judged but we may not judge another. (Although it is wise to distance yourself from those whom you feel may be detrimental to your growth) Believe that regardless if you believe the above that Love will surely guide you on the correct path. Believe in yourself for surely no one will believe in you if you don't. Love and Light, Fletcher, Bear with Feather
Hey Drew, just stopping by to say hello. How's everything going? I spoke to Pat and exchanged a few emails, but I really should make contact again. Thanks for that info.
