Most people spend their entire life in some state of emotional reaction! They don't even know what the word equanimity means. They certainly are not aware of how to acheive that state for long periods of time. These emotions resonate from the sub-concious mind, or what is otherwise called the Shadow or Pain-Body. Here resides all childhood wounds, trauma, birth experience, etc. The emotions are so intense that most people eat, drink, or drug themselves into a state of numbness and denial. Anything but deal with the pain. Acceptance, differentiation, integration and wholeness gets thrown to the oblivion of denial, repression, splitting, and fracture. This is the Human Condition. We look to someone else or something else to distract us from how we really feel. Going from relationship to relationship;job to job;place to place;anything to not sit still and listen to the voices in our heads, and learn how to quiet them. This is the great schism! It's inside you and so is the remedy!
The powers that be are very aware of this condition and how to exploit it for their own nefarious purpose. Wake up people! We may not have much time!
This is the hero..heroine's journey.
I firmly believe that it's in this process that we meet our true maker!
Peace, Andrew.........
Influences
Hmmm, for sheer prolifics, I'd have to say Zappa. For mood, Pink Floyd. Hannah Montana for being so darn avant-garde. I loved the way Chris Whitley played. Santana, Supertramp, Dylan, The Band, Young, the Chili's, Cobain, Temple of the Dog, Pearl Jam, Oasis, Matthew Good, Stabilo, 54-40, Smashing Pumpkins, anything from The O.C. lol, um who else? If u love music and are not playing it for some retarded reason then I'd probably like you too! Oh, yeah-mo-town too, when they're not obsessing with bling bling.......oh, yeah, I shouldn't forget to mention that I love it when the women are rockin'!
A Lullaby was recorded on my Mac. the first week of Dec. 2008. It and Little Black Heart is the first time i've been able to go thru the whole process of song writing and recording with no help from anyone. i'm quite sure this process shows off the strengths and weakness's of my musicianship.

Anyway, I don't play guitar, I don't play bass, I don't play drums(thanks dj thistle,thx. bob), I don't sing(really), I don't write songs, I don't write lyrics, I don't engineer(thanks dj thistle) and I don't produce(really,no, really), BUT, if I did do those things it would probably sound like the songs on here!
Seriously, I've been playing guitar most of my life. Most of the time I suck, but I do have my moments. I've been in and out of bands most of my life too;although, 5 yrs. ago i made the decision to do my own thing. These songs are the result of that endeavor.
So, basically this computer doubles as a recording studio and I'll post the songs up here(warts and all)as I kinda, sorta finish them. I hope u like them, but, if you don't I really couldn't give a !@..$. Have a good one! Andrew.
Tanks to Bob Gablehouse for engineering Last Good-Bye (U Rawk Man)! Thanks to my !2 and !4 year old gurlz for playing violin and piano on Roadkill. Thanks to Lawrence for engineering too.
