In no particular order: Abraham Laboriel, Michael Manring, Matt Garrison, Hadrien Feraud, Jaco Pastorius, Gary Willis, Stanley Clarke, Victor Wooten, Steve Bailey, Israel Crosby, the new solo bassists out there (and so many other great, great bass players). I observe and take from many other musicians that aren't bass players, like Bobby McFerrin, Pat Metheny, Leon Theremin, Emmett Chapman, Hermeto Pascoal, Kongar-ool Ondar, Tom Waits, Bela Fleck, Stanley Jordan, Evelyn Glennie, Django Reinhardt, Dave Matthews and others. Also all of the other musicians I've played with who challenge me and help me to get better. Most of all, I get inspiration from the people I meet, the experiences I have every day, and from myself.
Andrew Sheron started playing bass in October 2005, and from then on soaked in as much musical knowledge as he could. In March 2006, he was encouraged to pursue music as a career, and since then has worked with Kenwood Dennard, Alex Foster, Gil Goldstein, David Fiuczynski, Hiroaki Honshuku, Falu, Miles Evans, Eli Newberger, and others. Andrew is currently attending Berklee College of Music in Boston.
