A cross between Dragonforce, Children of Bodom, Galneryus, Iron Maiden, Avenged Sevenfold, Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Blink 182, etc.
Pretty much all my influences reflect on how I play.

Andrew Soto was born in a little town called San Pedro in California on July 2, 1988. He did not discover his passion for music during his early formative years and wasn't sure where life would take him at the time. When Andrew turned sixteen, he thought about becoming a drummer and set out to buy a drum set. Lacking the funds to buy the set, he settled on an electric guitar.
At first, Andrew did not take guitar playing seriously. But that didn't stop him from practicing and learning what he could from musical influences. His musical tastes expanded after a year and his skills at guitar started to drastically improve.
After a couple of years of practice, Andrew found his true calling through the guitar and it was because he lacked those funds to buy a drum set. With Andrew, one door closes and another opens. He is not afraid to venture into unknown doors and his music reflects his fearlessness.
Andrew's mind was opened again when he discovered Dragonforce, and as a result, became a follower of Galneryus, Children of Bodom, and Avenged Sevenfold, and other over the top bands. The two years he'd spent both listening and learning different guitar styles paid off. Andrew and a long time friend started a band and called it DarkSide Rising. The band lasted for four years and they achieved success gigging and used time in the recording studio producing their music until all his members decided to call it quits.
NOW in 2009 Andrew Soto is using it to take a leap as a solo artist and he has recently joined forces with “A Band of Orcs“. His skill is wide-ranging and he can tap into blues, rock and speed metal seamlessly. Andrew's fingers move lightening fast and his music tells a story that is packed with passion, rage, edginess and is deeply introspective. Andrew weaves tight licks to create the atmosphere of a thrill ride. At times, he is reminiscent of an early John McLaughlin, lead guitarist of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, and some of his melodies have a jazz-fusion like quality.
He has also been compared to Dragonforce, Children of Bodom, Steve Vai, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, Avenged Sevenfold and other big name artists.
