I was just told a while ago by Kessey that Dro died in his sleep. He didn't wake up Sunday morning.
If you didn't know him, Dro had gastro-intestinal cancer, and the last time I talked to him, about a month ago, he was down to 86 pounds. He just turned seventeen in February.
I heard this, and I was utterly in shock...I went from being happy and hyper, to this unbelievably low sinking feeling in my gut. I know I didn't know Dro as much as Kessey (nobody knew Dro as much as that girl), but I still loved him, so fucking much. I am in the deepest regret right now that I never got to meet him, and hug him. I'm only happy that we finally patched up our brief enmity the last time we talked.
Dro. No matter what you said, you were always so beautiful. You were a lovely, wonderful boy. I loved talking to you, so much. You were also the first boy who told me he loved me, surprise surprise. I would've given the world for you, just so that you and Kessey could have at least a few more years together.
I can't believe you're gone. You're really gone. It hasn't truly hit me yet. But. I'm reeling in utter shock. I feel so sick right now.
I can't believe it. I loved you, Dro la la. I will miss you with every ounce of my being; I still love you so much. You will always be beautiful. You are my loveliest of lovelies. And I am fighting not to cry right now; I am fighting the tears so hard. I can't believe that the gods would take someone so beautiful and so young.
