Hi! Just wanted to make sure all my friends know that my 2nd horror novel SACRIFICE was released this month - and is in stores everywhere, including Amazon.com. I hope you'll check out the book! Here are a couple reviews it's gotten:

“SACRIFICE is not for the timid or weak of heart, it is a full frontal assault on your senses. It is a dark, brutal, bloody and terribly frightening book. Everson went deep into some dark abyss to bring this book to the light of day.... I highly recommend Sacrifice.”
—Famous Monsters of Filmland

“John Everson manages in SACRIFICE to dispense buckets of blood, provide edgy perversity, and walk the tenuous tightrope of horror and sex without falling: It’s rather an amazing feat.” –Hell Notes

Just wanted to let you (and your comment-reading friends) know that GUD Issue 1 is now available for purchase!

Issue 1 comes to life with Darby Larson's "Electroencephalography" where an experiment in robot-building goes terribly awry. And if you've ever woken up with an unexpected physical deformity—say, an arrow in your heart—you'll truly enjoy the next story. There's also a smattering of flash fiction and psychedelia; a straight-out story where things aren't what they seem, poetry that takes you from the perverse to the sublime, some magic realism, science fiction, and a few letters to another species thrown in for good measure. We haven't forgotten those of you with a literary bent. In addition, the artwork in this issue is particularly strong, with oil paintings, watercolors, photography, and photo illustrations complementing the words with which they are paired.

Thanks for being a friend!

Welcome to MySpace!

It's good to see a benchmark of F/SF here in this virtual community. I (Bill Snodgrass) have had your publication on my list of places to submit for ages, yet always end up working on SR and the other DEP magazines instead of doing the final edit/submit work on my on projects! Perhaps seeing your avatar will push me forward!

Again, welcome and thanks for the invitation to add you!

There once was a robot called Clunk
Whose bits were made out of junk
He could rattle his guts
and twiddle his nuts
And when he sat down ... Ker-plunk!

There once was a spacer called Hal
In desperate need of a gal
Said Clunk "In between us
we've decided that Venus
is an exemplary gal for Hal"
