The cyclical energy of spring in 2006 spawned a new motivation in Northern Virginia. Winds of change were in the air and a distant embrace from common roots ushered the duty of AndsvarA.
Brainchild of atavistic latitudinarian Fionn Himmel, AndsvarA is a culmination of different musical genres and influence from Northern European integral culture. Often beyond genre definition, every song is a new look with the same staple sound. Interviewing fans and casual listeners yields a plethora of answers to the question "what genre are we?". You decide and let us know!
After playing shows with the likes of Zero Hour, Division, Brave, and In Tenebris, the band looks forward to booking more shows with National and Local bands alike.
