And The Revellers Fell formed when the rhythm section of JJ Deiso (bass) and Scotty Imp (drums) disbanded the post-punk noise rock band UDET (w/Max from Lit Lounge) after 5 years. Deiso had been writing on acoustic guitar and so started working out material with Scott, later adding another guitarist and a bassist to the band.
And The Revellers Fell play progressive urban Americana, putting older musical forms through a contemporary lens. Deiso's lived-in vocals find room in the rhythmically intense playing of the band that features articulate drumming (on a throwback cocktail kit) that makes the the many odd-timed grooves sound even again.
Fritz! Spunky picked out a guitar pick, a plectrum if you will, just for you! We saw a band who gave them out for free. She turns to me and says, " Mom, I should get a pick for my dad". AHHH, so cute!
