And The Revellers Fell formed when the rhythm section of JJ Deiso (bass) and Scotty Imp (drums) disbanded the post-punk noise rock band UDET, and found another of Deiso's former drummers, Casey Waldman, to play in the band.
And The Revellers Fell play acoustic-based urban Americana, putting older musical forms (like the music found in Harry Smith's Anthology of American Music) through a contemporary, progressive urban lens. Sound features the lived-in voices of Deiso and Waldman in harmony, some complex rhythmic interplay, winding guitar lines, and articulate drumming that makes the many odd-timed grooves sound even again.
