We officially started in late 2007 with three band members: Nate, Melissa, and Lorenzo. Nate's brother Ryan (piano and keyboard) and our friend Alison (vocals) were a part of the band for awhile to add depth to the three-piece. Mandi joined in March of 2008 to perform the female vocal parts and piano. We started by playing an eclectic mix of original songs and cover songs. All of us had previously played music together though, so when we finally solidified and began to perform all original songs, it wasn't hard to work together as a unit and create cohesive and original music.
Our name refers to two things:
1. As a band, we aim to create a variable music style that breaks off from the current popular music trend. Each of us is most familiar with a different style of music, and we aim to meld our musical views and experiences to create a completely new concept.
2. As individuals, we believe that we are currently only a concept of what God, in His creativity, is making us into. Because of His love and to His glory, Christ has redeemed us and is molding us into His image, and we exhibit this process in our day-to-day lives as well as in our music.
We believe that we, as a band, are called to display Jesus Christ through music. We also aim to create melodic tunes that connect with the listener in a personable way, since all of our music is derived from personal experiences and interactions. Finally, it is our goal to continually become better and better at what we do in order to present the best show our fans have ever seen!
Influences include bands of various styles including Mute Math, Switchfoot, Mae, Eisley, Skillet, Bethany Dillon, Relient K, and others.
So, thanks for reading, and thanks for listening! Stay tuned for more music and ideas!
your humble servants,
Nate, Melissa, Lorenzo, and Mandi
Hey Concept, thanks so much for the kind words about our music. It seriously means a lot to us! Please drop by often. We recently posted one of our two new songs. It's a very emotive tune called "Only Then" and you should check it out if you haven't already. Would love to hear whatcha think! Again thank you for taking the time to listen and especially to share with us. That gives us warm fuzzies inside. Blessings to you. Jason
Really? Because every time I try to talk to people about 9/11 being an inside job, or the kind of control our government is trying to put upon us, no one seems to care. They just want to continue living in their fantasy world like the sheeple they are.

Um you could probably start later and we might be able to get somebody to do some acoustic stuff too but try to make it as early as you can. Haha yeah ive been promoting like crazy so hopefully we will get a good amount and yeah, bring the merch fo sho!
Ok yeah the spot is still open! So first off it is next to intel in rio rancho off of the road 528 its called Smoke House bar-b-que and if you can make it to 528, just head north on that until you come to a road called barbra loop. Just make a right on that road and the Smoke House is right next to a burger king. If you need better directions let me know, i think Looy put up some really specific ones on the details on our show links. Um the set is going to need to be like an hour to an hour and 15 minutes so play any of your stuff that you want to play and then if you need to/want to, do some covers too. The money is just tips that you make which can usually do pretty well and the audience will probably be for the most part people that you invite to come and that we invite (so promote promote promote! :D). The catch is with this place is that it isn't designed for live music at all. It can fit quite a bit of people but it is like a rhombus shaped room with concrete floors and a tin roof so if you guys have the tendency in practice to really amp it (like we do) then it would probably be good to work on controlling your levels because they can get out of control really fast there. With equipment there is basically mics, monitors, a pa so it would be good to bring what ever equipment you need. We will also have all the equipment we need there so you can borrow something if you need to. Ok lastly you will start at 1 pm so however long it takes you guys to set up and soundcheck i would say show up at that time before 1. Cant wait to rock with you! If you have anymore questions, you can just hit us up.
thanks nate! my sister's friend has audacity too and a beautiful mic so he recorded for me. i added harmony but it didn't transfer for some reason. and the water part, i'm not sure if that's how i want to do it. i like it better than before. ..it sounds like i'm singing, "jew, walk on water." i should annunciate better. ha! thank you for the your prayers, friend!
Ok cool, just let me know. Its from 1-4 on June 14th at a place called Smoke house bar-b-que in rio rancho the set would probably have to be about and hour long.
Alright sweet sounds great. We should be getting another time to play pretty soon here hopefully and ill let you know as soon as we do so we can start planning.
