Tony Williamson launched his new band RIFT to international success in 2005 with their debut album "Push On Thru" and their performances at Merlefest, Supergrass and Savannah Music Festival". "Push On Thru" combines the brilliant blistering jazz and bluegrass mandolin solos of Tony Williamson with the country/acoustic rock songwriting of his son Hardy 'Rad Andy' Williamson. This work is an amazing combination of all acoustic instruments with folk and post modern influences alike. Ballads such as As I Have To Be add an introspecitve aspect to this otherwise all out surge of acoustic energy. The live duo of Tony and Hardy Williamson serves to convey the raw intensity of 'Push On Thru' in a comfortable, personable format.

I have been a Staind fan for a while now. I love a wide variety of music types and styles; depends on my mood as to what I am currently listening to. Nothing much at all has been going on here; just work! blah! Have a great weekend and I hope to see you guys soon!
You're so welcome. I've been reeeeally lax about using an auto upload directly from one of my amateur video cameras ...so I STILL haven't gone back in and properly labeled videos! The little clip that I think is on there as well is one I'd sometimes post, sometimes not. But I began recording mid-way through for MYSELF as I was hearing and enjoying that song. So, (here's my thinking) if I liked it enough to capture a snippet, mightn't others like it as well? I think SO!
Here are a few photos from some early postings as well: Hosted on Fotki
I'll let you know for sure. lol I've still got 'Red Lips and Candy' in my head! and you're way more awesome than me. lol But yeah, soon as I get a chance, I will. I need a break from Nashville. How are other things going in the life of Rad Andy?
awe! I love the new video! Thanks so much for posting it on my page! I miss hangin with you and hope I get the chance soon. Sorry everything's kinda fallen apart here and i didn't get to come down... but i plan on giving it a try soon. I'll try and call you later tonight or tomorrow.
MY MAIN MAN ANDY!! dude, it's great to be hooked up with you on MySpace..it was so good seeing you and hearing that incredible music back on Tony's Farm the other night..come see us in Nashville when you can.. lp

-So glad Jeff Stickley and I could catch some of your show last night. Amazing talents! My favorite was probably Tony's garden rose-inspired song. What is the name of it?
