dear friends,
I tried for a long time to do life on my own. I tried to prove myself to everyone so they would accept me as a musician. I attempted to separate my music into" for God" and "for me". I have in the past few months came to the realization that the only true joy I find is in making music for my maker and my King. So this means my completely surrendering of the last part of me I was still holding on to: my music. All music that I will make from this point on will serve the purpose of helping people encounter God more authentically, or edifying others by sharing my journey with them. Its not an artistic cop-out or me thinking that I wouldn't make it as a pop singer, because honestly I am really not worried about being famous in the least bit. This is simply me as a child of God, a worship leader, a songwriter, understanding that my Lord deserves it all. That anything but 100% of my creativity just isn't enough. So I am placing my life, my music, and all of my creativity on the altar for God. I believe he is worth it. My prayer for you is that you come to the realization of God as a real, powerful, living, breathing, feeling, being that loves you and wants nothing more than for you to embrace his spirit's move in your life. That is why he sent his son Jesus to die for us that we may see true perfection sacrificed on our behalf. We are no longer slaves to sin but rather are free men bought with a cost that we may delight in the work God is doing in our midst. God loves you more than you can possibly imagine. Coming from a guy who tried it on his own for too long, a life lived for God is the only life worth it. If you have questions about my journey or about how to begin a life with Christ I would love to talk to you. I have by no means arrived. But, I can still maybe offer some insight. thanks for coming to this page and may you be awed by Christ our Great Pursuer.

LOL this is crazy! And it only works if you have Internet Explorer (I think). You have to go to www . retwistic . com (no spaces) and then after it loads you need to hit the back button or else the funny video won't come up. If that doesn't work then hit the forward button instead.
