Hey, my name is Andy Cortes. I was born in the autumn of 1987 to Colombian parents. Having been bought up in Holloway for the early part of my life, I moved south to Sutton. I started playing guitar at the age 9 and was heavily influenced by my step father who introduced me to the world of music. I was signed to universal records at the age of 17 and spent two and a half years with the company. Since then I've worked with an array of talented signed and successful artists as a session guitarist.
Im currently in the process of taking my band NAPOLEON to New York after receiving some interest from major labels over there. The band includes the irish messiah himself, Connor Mcdonald on guitar, and vocals and Sam Van Essen on the drums. The next year is looking very exciting and I hope to be bringing you guys many joyful noises in the future. Andy xxx
