Guitarist Andy Friedberg has worked with many reggae artists including Luciano and Mikey General, also with Motown Records artist Martha Reeves, the Boys Choir of Harlem, the Apollo Theatre Band, the Platters, the Cotton Club Allstars (at the Cotton Club and at the 2002 and 2003 Gullah Festivals in Beaufort, SC), the Pazant Brothers Band, trumpeters Mike Ridley, Wynton Marsalis, Roy Campbell and Ted Daniel, drummer Dennis Charles, the Spirit of Love Gospel Singers, the Harlem Renaissance Orchestra, organist Reuben Wilson, saxophonists Eddie Pazant, John Stubblefield and Zane Massey, vocalists Mylene Bey and Evelyn Blakey, and many other musicians around the world.
- As a solo performer, or as a bandleader with his own band, he plays jazz, r&b and latin music in clubs and for corporate and private affairs. Andy and his band have performed in the Bell Atlantic Jazz Festival in 1999 and 2000, at the Democratic National Convention, for the past four years at the annual christmas party at Trump Tower, at the Legends Suites Club at the new Yankee Stadium before Yankee home games, for several of New Yorks mayors at Gracie Mansion, at Aaron Davis Hall for the National Black Sports and Entertainment Hall of Fame, for the US Tennis Association with former mayor Dinkins, appeared on ABCs "Good Morning America", were the studioband for the CBS shows "This Morning" (this episode was nominated for a 2005 Emmy), "New York Tonight" and "What's Hot Tonight", and have recorded for the japanese Felissimo label.
