Band Members	Andy Gonzales (me). Sara Kirkpatrick (my lovely wife) played the fluoog (flute through synth). Jesse Flavin shredded some. Heather Macintosh cello'd some. W.C. Hart did the 4-track foxtrot. Derek Almstead said he would play, then got too busy...but he did mastering/sequencing. ;) Josiah Shoup wrote a script with me. Wanna Play?...
Influences	Impressionistic classical, 20th century classical, complicated funk music, jazz, 80s music/ production, obviously creative endeavors spanning any genre.
Sounds Like	Eggs in a frying pan to a starving family.

About andy from denver

Due to whimsy and the will of the stars, I am starting a new band.

I grew up in Denver, but moved to Athens in '98 to tour with Music Tapes opening for Neutral Milk Hotel and Olivia Tremor Control on many American and European adventures. Then I started playing in Of Montreal, and did that for some years. We toured around the world, where my band Marshmallow Coast played a lot of shows. I eventually broke away from both bands, and now that I have a home studio will be doing my own stuff exclusively!

Bands I have played in in Alphabetical order: Instruments, M Coast, Marshmallow Coast, Music Tapes, Of Montreal, Olivia Tremor Control (appeared on an English BBC recording), Pipes You See Pipes You Don't.

I am writing new songs from a place of acceptance and oblivious careening towards life and the digital age. Although the songs can be upbeat, I often write depressing-ish lyrics about my observations and fantasies. I think that about sums it. I hope you enjoy it all!
