Welcome to the myspace page for Film Composer/Songwriter Andy Georges. A multi-instrumentalist and vocalist, Georges is in demand for session and composing work with artists such as Sheryl Crow, Jewel, Maia Sharp, the world music group AO, and Jay Oliver. In recent news, Andy placed a song in the new film "Letters to Juliet" starring Venessa Redgrave and Amanda Seyfried. The song is called "Verona" and you can download here from the Nimbit player. Also look for the film directed by David Schwimmer called "Run Fatboy Run" out on DVD where you'll hear a very romantic Georges tune called "Be My Love." You can also download the song right here on myspace. Andy has recently placed a song in the new film "My Life In Ruins" starring Nia Vardalos and produced by Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson. The song is called "Dream Dance" and it's also available for download here on myspace. Earlier this year Andy was busy working on the score for the second season of "YLSE," a groundbreaking new webseries starring Ruth Livier and directed by Joe Camareno that is getting over half a million hits on youtube. Also, Georges has just finished scoring a major portion of the soundtrack to "Santorini Blue," starring Deirdre Lorenz, Matthew Panepinto, Ice-T, and Richard Belzer due out in late 2010. With strains of rock, blues, world music, and jazz in his work, Georges has established himself as a distinctive voice in the Los Angeles music scene. Andy's new CD Time Is A Thief is now available at itunes.com, CD Baby, and here on myspace. Andy will also be adding new songs to myspace for download as they become available.
