Sounds Like
Hopefully I do have my own sound but a lot of the comments here on myspace point out the influence of The Beatles, The Stone Roses and Oasis.
The sound still needs a lot of work these demo's are rough and in need of a good polish, but it will all come together eventually.
I've been writing songs for about 10 years. I started to try and record a few rough demo versions in 2007 and put them on myspace. The responses have been really great and the comments keep me going.
In 2008 a small local magazine did an artice about the songs and the response they had received on myspace.
At the end of 2008 and into 2009, I've been working with a couple of great musicians and we are seeing what we can come up with, it's sounding quite promising so far.
In 2009 I've been writing quite a few new songs and have also received my first Radio Airplay.

Thanks for the comment and sorry for the delay as not been on my Myspace for quite some time.
I dig your Lyrics man and can hear lots of your influences coming through and that's what it's all about mate eh, taking your influences and making your own.
Good luckpal and hope it goes well for you in 2010.
Hi Andy, your songs sound really interesting - I like acoustic based music a lot. Good luck with your album - I've just finished (I think..) my own new one. John
