Hey Andy - how're you doing? It's been a while, so thought I'd drop by and say hi. I (finally) saw Jason Manford for the first time - on Live At The Appollo - he was totally top class (so thanks for the frequent recommendations!). xxx
HELLO! Andy...I hope things are as crazy as ever in your world, as long as you are getting plenty of relaxation in between...
The Giver of Stars by Amy Lowell
Hold your soul open for my welcoming. Let the quiet of your spirit bathe me With its clear and rippled coolness, That, loose-limbed and weary, I find rest, Outstretched upon your peace, as on a bed of ivory. Let the flickering flame of your soul play all about me, That into my limbs may come the keenness of fire, The life and joy of tongues of flame, And, going out from you, tightly strung and in tune, I may rouse the blear-eyed world, And pour into it the beauty which you have begotten.
William Henry Clapp American 1879-1954 "Nu allonge"

Hey andy - how's you? I've noticed you on-line a few times over the past week - is this the potential promise of new photos coming soon? I hope so! I'm hoping to go see Sarah Millican in December - looking forward to that. Happy Sunday. w xxx
Hey Andy, How's you? Thanks for your comments - I realised when I read them that I forgot (understand, my memory is crap) to tell you that when you posted that bulletin, I went and had a look round your new website (and found it aweseome :0) ), and that's waht inspired me to get off my backside, stop waiting for other people, and make my own (substantially less awesome) site. whew - far too many parentheses!
Real work you say? Well, as long as you make time for fun tis ok :)
But clearing paperwork? Now that is the worst sort of work. My brain sort of stops functioning correctly...I do hope you are less ADD than me! Have a great weekend Andy!
An Excerpt from the poem "The Buried Life" by Matthew Arnold
But often, in the world's most crowded streets, But often, in the din of strife, There rises an unspeakable desire After the knowledge of our buried life; A thirst to spend our fire and restless force In tracking out our true, original course; A longing to inquire Into the mystery of this heart which beats So wild, so deep in us--to know Whence our lives come and where they go. And many a man in his own breast then delves, But deep enough, alas! none ever mines. And we have been on many thousand lines, And we have shown, on each, spirit and power; But hardly have we, for one little hour, Been on our own line, have we been ourselves-- Hardly had skill to utter one of all The nameless feelings that course through our breast, But they course on for ever unexpress'd. And long we try in vain to speak and act Our hidden self, and what we say and do Is eloquent, is well--but 'tis not true! And then we will no more be rack'd With inward striving, and demand Of all the thousand nothings of the hour Their stupefying power; Ah yes, and they benumb us at our call! Yet still, from time to time, vague and forlorn, From the soul's subterranean depth upborne As from an infinitely distant land, Come airs, and floating echoes, and convey A melancholy into all our day. Khalil Gibran*
Ha ha - I was just listening randomly to the Tim Lock show from last Saturday (following on from listening to MW's show) and got to hear THAT Tim Minchin song - excellence supreme - love it!
