I have some new songs posted that I've played on: track 1 is by my good friend Matthew Perryman Jones... you may have heard this on "Private Practice" or "Kyle XY"; track 2 is by Sarah Kelly; track 3 is by an Indie artist named Brendan McCarthy, for a few older cuts: track 4 is MPJ again, track 5 is the incredible Garrison Starr & track 6 is my old friends Jars of Clay. Thanks to those artists for allowing me to showcase their music!
There are other great artists on myspace that I've had the opportunity to work with, but they only allow us 4 songs. Make sure you check out Kristen Hall, Andy Osenga, Jeremy Lister, Emily Deloach, Jon Troast, Josh Byrd, Tyler Burkum, Elizabeth Foster, Newton Dominey, Jonah Werner, Laurianne Cates, Bebo Norman, & JJ Heller too. Thanks for listening!
I moved to Nashville in 1992 from South Carolina where I studied music at USC. Since being in town I've had many great opportunities in the music industry, all of which I'm grateful for. I have enjoyed performing live at home and on tour. I love all the traveling I've gotten to do as well as the great people I've met. I have also had great opportunity in the studios recording great music and working with even greater artists. I do what I love and I love what I do... I'm blessed for sure.
I spent the last 5 years on the road with the incredible Little Big Town as their drummer and musical director and loved every minute of it. I never got tired of playing Boondocks - I love that song!
I am currently taking a break from the road and staying in town as much as possible and working here in Nashville. I am married to a wonderful woman who supports me on so many levels - I love you babe.
Thanks for the add! I'd love to hear what you think about my music. Keep checkin' my page for upcoming shows and updates! Next show in Nashville will be November 6th @ 12th and Porter. Hope you can make it out. Keep in touch....Ben.
