I love to read, listen to music (oh how I wish that I could play), to cook, to eat good food, .
In the summer I love to cycle along the riverside. In the autumn to walk in the park kicking up the leaves. I always love to be near the ocean or open water. I love thunderstorms and summer rains. I love mountains.
I like to watch movies and DVDs. I enjoy time spent with my partner and our children playing games and doing stupid things together.
I Love to travel when I can - though now children make it harder to do so but have been to most of western Europe, Turkey, East Africa, Madagascar, the US, Mexico, Philippines, Thailand, China, Hong Kong & Taiwan.
Rugby Union - supporting England and Bath.
Football - AFC Bournemouth
Scooters: especially Vespas and Lambrettas
Cycling - used to mountain bike but now older have a Brompton folding bicycle to commute around London with.
Marine mamals especially Whales, Dolphins, Seals
Dr Who - especially the 1st, 3rd, 4th and now 6th Doctors. The 10th looks like he will shape up quite nicely too. Daleks and Cybermen.
Music
I love most music from rock to pop, classical to jazz, blues to soul. Currently revisiting my youth and rexploring ska, two tone and the 1970's mod revival.
Favourites include: The Jam, The Small Faces, The Kinks, The Who, Secret Affair, The Lambrettas, Squire, Purple Hearts
And of course how could one ever forget The Jam, The Style Coucil and of course the Mod Father himself - Mr Paul Weller.
Also like Ocean Colour Scene
Though will also admit to a dodgy liking for prog rock like Marillion, Genesis, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, and Pendragon
Also jazz greats like Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Mile Davis, Dave Brubeck (who cannot like Take 5?) and so many more.
Movies
Star Wars (especailly when they had names rather than episode numbers), Lord of the Rings, American Pie, The Italian Job (Caine not Clooney) (Classic Mini Coopers)
Television
Dr Who, CSI, Numb3rs, Spooks, Coupling, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, QI,
Cartoons: Dangermouse, The Simpsons, Hong Kong Phooey, Hairbair Bunch,
Radio:The Archers, Just a Minute, Sorry I Haven't a Clue,
Books
I love reading and usually have at least one book on the go more often or not three.
Heroes
Dr Who
Einstein Alan Turing, Charles Babage, Tim Lee Berners for their work on computers and the web and without whom none of us would not be meeting like this IK Brunnel For God's Wonderful Railway and so many, many things JRR Tolkien, Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams for all that they have ever written, making me laugh or smile or just the world seem better Alex Issigonis for the design of the Morris Minor and Mini and John Cooper for refining it to perfection,
And who could ever forgot R2D2 & Yoda
And most of all My Nan (RIP), My Grandfather (RIP), My Dad, My Mum and My partner for all the love support and encouragement they ever showed me and continue to do so. I love you guys so much

About me: I am a 41 (can I really be that old?) year male living and working in London.
In a committed relationship with a wonderful partner and we have just had our first child, William John Huang Fry, born on 1st December.
I am here to make friends with people from all across the world especially those with, or parents of children with, Asperger's Syndrome (AS) (Aspies) or autism. I myself was diagnosed with AS in the summer of 2005.
I moderate a group on myspace which is an online community for aspies at: United Aspies. Please do feel free to stop by, have a look and join in if you would like to. Membership is open to anyone with a genuine interest in AS.
Who I'd like to meet: Looking to make friends with people across the world especailly those with Asperger's Syndrome (AS). I was diagnosed with AS in the summer of 2005. I have a son (15) also with AS and a Daughter (12) who is autistic.
I am hoping to meet genuine people who have something interesting to say, have weird or just damm right crazy ideas, creativity and orginality. People like you.
Bands:: Please note I will ask to be added to your site if I like your music, please don't ask me.
I'm trying to put an illustration portfolio together though I'm not getting very far because I seem to spend half the day replying to myspace email... back to being an anti-social hermit for a while methinks!
hi hi i had a fab holiday thanks andy...i kinda toured the french riviera from marseilles, cannes, nice n touched a bit of inland..it is ever sooo nice as opposed to dis depressing weather we ae having on lately..waa!! but anyways, i hope all is goodd with you n your family...take care! x
I can see that. My dad likes to get me all fired up and see how he can unleash that animal. He loves putting people down and provoking them to feel better about himself. That's why I hardly ever have anything to do with him. BTW how far are you from The Royal Observatory? My Physical Geography professor is from England. He was telling me about that observatory located on the Prime Meridian. I definitely need to go there one day. I want to see that green laser beam they have up in the sky to divide the hemispheres. Do you think that's going to be one of the big displays for the 2012 Olympics?
I'm glad you liked it. I never heard that analogy before I just wrote a blog today about having Asperger's is like being a werewolf. I described how it's like having an animal inside you that you can't control. I know my blogs flood people's pages. I'm sorry. Sometimes they can be a bit drawn out, too. That's why now I'm trying to edit them and make them shorter. Anyway, it's good to hear from you again.
