Rising up from the ashes of S.K.A. ALLSTARS comes Andy Keys (founder member and keyboard player of the band) and ex front man, guitarist and co writer John Waplington. This pair have their own unique blend of ska as well as producing some soul stompers! Andy has again joined forces with John to create the Andy Keys Project, so expect loads of tunes from this pair! This time Andy is the main lead singer, but John also takes lead mike on some tracks. Andy and John are both also previous members (keyboards & guitar) of the original British ska band Ska'd For Life. Andy and John have both been writing songs for years in their own right, with Andy spending a long time in the ska world. Both have played alongside some of the biggest names in ska and both have extensively toured Europe and headlined several festivals. One of Andy's biggest tracks was the single "Street Life", written for Ska'd For Life in 1995 and acheiving City Chart success in Belgium. Andy also wrote several songs on the debut Ska'd For Life album "Sober". More recent songs appear on the S.K.A. ALLSTARS mini album "It's time to wake up!", and of course on the forthcoming new Andy Keys Project album "Remember". Andy's work has also been featured on various compilation albums including "Punk Ska Party", "Full Speed Ahead" (Mordros Music) and "Ska Trax: The Next Generation part 3" (Heatwave). This site features Andy and John's new work, both writing songs and maintaining their own sound. Andy's love of ska and all things scooter associated strongly reflects in their music. Andy and John have just recorded a new song "Let's take a walk", produced at Speed of Sound with a big new sound production and complete with video. The song will hopefuly be available as a single in the future. The new album "Remember" is set for release in 2010. Stay tuned!

Comé maltinha, prontos para mais um tema do nosso 1º EP "SEMENTES DA DESORDEM"?
Já podem escutar o revisitado tema "BAR DA GNR", tema nº 2 do EP e que precede às "GUITARRAS DE GUERRA". Este tema já com alguns anitos lavou a cara e foi gravado no inicio de 2009 com novos arranjos, mantendo no entanto todo o carisma que vez dele um dos hinos dos ERVAS DANINHAS. Durante 20 dias, mais ou menos, vão poder entrar no "BAR DA GNR" e buer uma cervejola e morfar uma entremeada e até mesmo apanhar uma carraspana sem ficarem de cana... Dêm gás no volume e acordem os vizinhos... pelo menos aqueles que dormem a sesta ao Domingo à tarde. O "BAR DA GNR" contou com a presença de dois convidados muito especiais, foram eles o Igor e o Arroja dos SHIVERS, que por entre copos de binho e assaltos à sacristia ainda tiveram tempo para uma ida à Sela... ops, desculpem o erro... uma ida à cela.
