I turned 20 this last may, and I just released
my new CD “This Beautiful World”.
I grew up in the tiny Northern California town of Hopland.
I live in Berkeley, CA and am a full time student
at UC Berkeley, but I definitely spend way more
time playing music than studying for school.
I wrote all the songs on "This Beautiful World"
in my bedroom.
I also recorded these songs... in my bedroom on
my Macbook in Logic Pro.
I played all the instruments on the CD, except for on
the track "Beautiful World" where my friend Samantha
Sharp accompanies me on the viola (it's pretty sweet,
her viola is awesome!)
I also have to admit, on another song I used Logic Pro's
shaker loop because I don't have a shaker... but everything
else is me, I promise.
I spent about a year making the record, and I hope that you
all enjoy listening to it as much as I did making it.
If you like what you hear, please tell your friends, tell your dad,
tell your mom, tell your cousins, ha... even tell random strangers
on the street because that's what it takes to keep this dream alive.
