Been playing in various bands for around 18 years, a bit rusty now-a-days but still really enjoy it. Used to depend on the extra cash to cover equipment costs so played social clubs, weddings, session stuff and venues that rarely could be called exciting.
Back in the early 90's I gave music a rest to study for my career and then played with a few local bands doing the pub rounds, which was a lot of fun. We played heavy rock, punk, MOR just about anything from Dire Straights to Van Halen with the occasional band written songs.
Influences are Gary Moore, Mark Knofler, Dave Gilmore, and I loved the first Damien Rice album, other personal favourites are Avril, Puddle of Mud, Jimmy Eats World, Hoobastank, Sting, I could go on and on, there really are far too many to list!
I now work in Leeds and travel fairly often so can't really gig, and the last thing a band needs is a wondering guitarist when trying to organise gigs. Hence turning to a home studio to keep my hand in and record a few CD's.
Would love to collaborate with other musicians / songwriters and still have dreams about possibly being "discovered" some day.
I hope you enjoy the songs on the site and would be grateful for feedback, contact with others like me.
Warmest regards to all
Andy
CD now available via CD-Baby Or on Apple iTunes here

I'm doing well. I did get your chat message, apparently you logged off before you got my response. This blackberry thing is new to me, so it took a minute to react ... lol I have finally figured out HOW to get the new character involved in the last part of the book, so I am thinking I can pretty much wrap it up this weekend. Talk soon Mr Taskmaster! xx
i apologize if this is a repeated comment. today has been a little sad ..:( - thank you... Andy, it is me Deb from the other site, i was helping people out to get you votes, do you remember me?? Thats why i requested you back in here too. Awesome to have you. You RoCk!!!!! much love & respect Andy. Deb
cheerzz bro!! Diggin' your audioscapes and lead guitarzz - recognise what you mentioned about being a guitarist who sings rather than a vocalist who plays guitar (remember Jeff Buckley....)
still there's nothing more intense than band cummulative creativity
hardly started searching and already have some "options"... I've recently started recording with a handycam - a friend of mine advised me to put some vid's on youtube - it got him gigs with several bands (he's a pro drummer, Roy Moonen VERY TALENTED!!!! and still very "REAL")
Hey sweetie, got your comment. I can't post it because my name is on it. I had to do some changes on my profile. My ex(stalker) boyfriend found me again and I have to watch what I have on my profile to throw him off. I didn't delete it , I have it on hold. Thanks. I am doing fine. How are you sweetie?
No news........dull, that's me! I could make something up to sound exciting I guess ;) No more tickets, hope you haven't cursed me by asking - lol! So now it's up to you, what's going on there hmmmmm? x
Just stopped by to give a proper listen to the new tunes. You know I love your work! BUT enough fun for one day. I must get on the manuscript now. I have a deadline to meet. =) Catch you later sweets! ~d
