I've been in love with Rock and Roll as long as I can remember. Drawing pictures of "Rocky Racoon" while my brother Stephan played the "White Album".
I was never much of an athlete. I discovered the guitar at the age of thirteen. My future was paved in music. The guitar represented freedom to me. I have never looked back. A beautiful blur of chaos, heartbreak and elation and acheivement.
From my little North Dakota upbringing to appearing on Star Search at the age of 22, meeting Ed, Johnny Carson, Bob Newhart and singing to 23 million people. Then to spend the subsequent years striving to make myself the best musician I could be. Botched record deals, crazy managers retarded booking agents and a miriad of wonderful bandmates has made me who I am today and of whom I am proud to be.
I attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, graduated as a Guitar Luthier from the famed Red Wing Guitar Program, become a published poet
and a passionate songwriter.
I suffer from an incurable illness which has tested my resolve. Three strokes, blindness, paralysis, each time taking away my ability to play the instrument that had so defined me. I never knew if my voice would come back or my motor skills would ever return. God has challenged me greatly, by taking away that which gave me so much joy. I was to discover who I was beyond the musician.
2004 was my tearing down. The subsequent years have been my building up. My reward has been"Its all About the Girl", "Galactic Matches", "Revelations and Conundrums", "Orange" and now "My Delicate Car Crash" all chronically recording my rebirth and love for music and love for all which is frail and vulnerable and beautiful.
Please join me by sharing my music, letting it be a part of your life, your love and your passion. I will continue unabashed until I am dead and gone.

My family and friends share my passion for our American Troops, through our many shows for "Fisher House", for our compassion for battered women and children at the famed " Lewis House" . All of this in the name of our beautiful savior Jesus Christ.

There is currently a search for two types of bands for record label consideration.
*** Note: PLEASE IDENTIFY IF YOU ARE IN GROUP 1 OR 2 IN THE SUBJECT LINE OF YOUR RESPONSE. Emails are being reviewed by different representatives.
1. A Pop/Rock/Commercial band with female lead. Band must consist of 2 guitars (Prefer both guitar players to be of lead caliber. However, one lead and one rhythm is acceptable), keyboard/piano, bass, and drums. Lead vocal, followed by backing vocals, in that order, is a plus as it relates to other members of the group. Average age of the band cannot exceed 28 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
2. A Modern Rock band with male lead. Must be a complete band but there are no prerequisites as it relates to the make up of the band. Average age of the band cannot exceed 23 years of age.
* Group must have an outstanding lead vocalist. ** Musicianship throughout the entire band must be very strong. *** Group cannot currently be under any contract of any type that is related to the music industry.
