I can only speak for myself but an obvious early influence is Bob Dylan. Later on I would be getting into Led Zeppelin, The Birthday Party, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Robyn Hitchcock, Nino Rota, any soundtracks and now I am starting to like hip-hop, and getting into opera. I enjoy classical music on dark rainy nights. OOH! Oh yeah Mark, Adam and Colin all really love ABBA.

Andy Monley and the High Horse is the new vehicle for songwriter Andy Monley. As the former front man of Jux County, Velveteen Monster, and as a long time guitarist of the Czars, Andy has been making music in Denver for well over 20 years. Being Andy Monley makes it hard to describe my music so take a listen to the tracks and maybe write your own description. The best ones I will use. But I can't pay you. Did you notice how I changed from 3rd person to 1st person. Andy Monley does that from time to time. I will get it right.

Hi Andy Monely...Anissa here! Hi! So Bates sent me some old Jux which I downloaded and have been playing all month. What a great recollection. When I first moved to SF someone broke into my studio and stole all of my cds from D-town. So getting the songs was great!
