Andy "The Panda" Moritz plays lead bass player for intergalactic acoustic super group Cadillac Sky.

Andy started playing acoustic music when he was studying music in college and had a revelation one day that acoustic folk rock bluegrass was his key to fame and fortune. He was one of the founding members of Classical Grass back in 1996.

Andy is an accomplished bassist working in many genres, from bluegrass to big bands and orchestras to chamber ensembles. Andy has played with Classical Grass, Sugar Bayou, the Encore Strings, the Charlie Prause Piano Trio, the Ronnie Renfrow and Ed Gerlach Big Bands, and was a member of the Woodlands Symphony for 10 years.

Andy directs a large and highly successful private studio of bass students, many of whom have won appointments to prestigious music colleges and conservatories.
